Job Description: Multiple inpatient clinical pharmacist positions at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN providing exceptional care to patients. Clinical services consist of daily rounding on a multidisciplinary team, identification of drug-related problems, provision and documentation of recommendations through progress notes regarding optimization of drug therapy, admission and discharge medication reconciliation, transition of care planning, and direct patient care on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include drug therapy and disease monitoring, medication order review and verification, medication distribution, anticoagulation management, pharmacokinetic antimicrobial management, collaborative practice agreement and various other clinical activities depending on practice area. As an institution valuing teaching and education, precepting of Mayo Clinic pharmacy residents and other pharmacy learners is expected. Involvement in scholarly activities including quality initiatives and multidisciplinary research is encouraged and supported through extensive institutional and departmental resources.  Opportunity for academic appointment at hiring and associate appointment after 5 years of employment.

Previous clinical experience preferred including PGY 1 or PGY 2 training and/or equivalent experience of 3-5 years in hospital and/or specialty practice.

Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes at least two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience.
