The Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator is responsible for clinical and operational aspects of specialty pharmacy services and works collaboratively with the patient care team to promote the safe and effective use of medications. Operational duties depend on the specific role, but may include interpreting, dispensing, and verifying medications ordered by physicians or other authorized prescribers. The Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator assists with maintaining the specialty pharmacy business in accordance with departmental standards, internal and external reporting requirements, accreditation standards, and pharmacy laws and regulations.
Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Pharm.D.
Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or relevant specialty OR 3 years pharmacist experience
Eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Florida required. Must be obtained prior to start date.
