Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency.
Position Details:
Parkview offers a 24-month American Society of Health-System Pharmacists pre-candidate-status program that includes the first 12 months matching our existing PGY1 and a second 12 months focused on administration and leadership. The Parkview team is dedicated to fostering the development of residents by equipping them with a robust skill set in clinical and administrative areas, enabling them to emerge as leaders in the field of health-system pharmacy. Our program offers a comprehensive experience encompassing various facets of pharmacy practice and health-system administration.
Within the dynamic environment of Parkview Health, renowned for its tertiary and ambulatory care services, we design rotations that emphasize safe and effective medication utilization, operational and clinical management, teaching, quality assurance, compliance, technology and data analytics, financial stewardship, human resources, and leadership. Each rotation serves as a stepping stone, progressively enhancing the resident's competencies, preparing them to manage projects and people throughout the second year. The resident will become a well-rounded practitioner and leader provided with the knowledge and skills to lead the profession of pharmacy into the future.
This is a new program with anticipated accreditation from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Once accreditation is achieved, all past residents will be considered to have completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1/PGY2 HSPAL Residency.

Position Qualifications: Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana is required.
