The Ambulatory Care Residency Program (PGY 2) at Parkland is an organized, directed, postgraduate training program that centers on development of the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to pursue advanced practice clinical management of patients with chronic disease states. It is a 12-month training program structured to develop the resident’s competence in multiple areas of ambulatory care in which clinical pharmacy services are being provided in our institution.
