Children's National is a 323 bed academic medical institution in the heart of our Nation's Capital.  We serve patients from both far and near including a large international patient population.  The pharmacy department is composed of approximately 150 individuals, and we are looking for a two (2) forward-thinking, creative, and passionate pharmacist to join the clinical team, one as acute care float and the other as ICU float.

The opportunity we have available is a all full-time, exempt position for a Clinical Pharmacist II in the Children's Division of Pharmacy Services.  This role serves as the partner to the clinical specialist and clinical pharmacist 2s for the area cross covering.  Services will include providing education, clinical services, order verification, code coverage, committee involvement, and providing pharmacy resident and student education on acute care units. This role will have evenings and weekend responsibilities in a decentralized clinical capacity.   

Acute Care Float - will be primary pharmacist in heart and kidney unit but rotate amongst other acute care areas during based on need.

ICU Float - will be floating between all three ICUs at CNH (PICU, CICU, NICU)
