PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency
The PGY2 Infectious Diseases Residency Program at Baptist Health South Florida is a 52-week pharmacy specialty-training program. It is designed to establish a foundation of infectious diseases knowledge and to develop the skills necessary to deliver high-level clinical care. The program was founded in 2020 then given the full 8-year ASHP accreditation term when appraised in 2021. Residents are supported by an exceptional 9 preceptors with PGY2 training in infectious diseases. Past residents have attended and presented work at ASHP Midyear, MAD-ID, IDweek, and ECCMID. This multi-site residency provides an unparalleled learning experience for developing an understanding of infectious diseases pharmacy across the continuum of patient care.  The goal of the program is to devel
