This specialty program is designed to provide advanced clinical training and leadership opportunities from a dedicated critical care preceptor team at a 711-bed academic level-I trauma medical center with 107 dedicated ICU beds. Research projects and teaching activities are tailored to meet the needs/interests of the resident. Residents will have the opportunity to precept PGY1 residents and APPE students on clinical rotations. ACLS, PALS, FCCS and Basic Disaster Life Support training will be provided. External presentations and publications are encouraged.
This program is designed to advance the resident’s skills in emergency medicine, pre-hospital patient care and clinical toxicology. Training will be provided at a Level 1 trauma, stroke, academic medical and tertiary referral center. The core curricula are focused on creating a well-rounded clinical practitioner who possesses the unique skill sets needed for emergency medicine practice.
Clinical toxicology is an important component of the program. The resident will work closely with toxicologists during their longitudinal experience to lay the foundation for board certification through the American Board of Applied Toxicology (ABAT). This PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy residency is designed to provide advanced clinical training in oncology and leadership development opportunities. Upon completion of the residency, the graduates’ advanced knowledge and leadership skills will enable them to practice as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team in the care of the oncology patient, engage in clinical instructor/precepting opportunities and they will be prepared to attain board certification (BCOP).

PGY1 positions are available in acute care focus (10 residents), ambulatory care focus (4 residents), PGY1 community-based (1 resident), PGY1/PGY2 Health-system Pharmacy and Leadership (4 residents), PGY1/PGY2 Medication Use Safety and Policy (4 residents), PGY1&2 Pharmacy Informatics (2 resident).
