The Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at Henry Ford Hospital is a 12-month, structured PGY-2 residency. This PGY-2 pharmacy residency program builds upon Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY-1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in the specialized area of ambulatory care practice.  This residency will provide opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care. Residents will work alongside clinical pharmacists in both the ambulatory and inpatient environments allowing for pharmacist mentoring and modeling as well as for integration into the collaborative practice model with close physic
