The PGY2 Pediatric Residency Program is a twelve-month program located at M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital. This program prepares the resident to become a pediatric clinical pharmacist through an array of advanced pediatric-focused core and elective rotations.
At M Health Fairview Masonic Children's Hospital, we balance the latest in technology and treatments with patient-centered care. We provide care for a broad spectrum of pediatrics, ranging from general surgery to NICU/PICU to cardiac services to oncology/BMT. We also offer a unique experiences in pediatric antimicrobial stewardship, medication teaching, and medication therapy management. As the core teaching hospital of the University of Minnesota Medical School and College of Pharmacy, our hospital is among the most respected in the nation, providing superior health care results. This program will provide development in clinical and problem-solving skills as well as communication, leadership, and teaching in pediatrics.
