The PGY-2 ambulatory care program provides a variety of opportunities with unique experiences and incorporates a multidisciplinary patient-centered experience.
Required rotations include orientation, anticoagulation, HIV, kidney transplant, primary care and specialty pharmacy. Required longitudinal experience includes ambulatory pharmacy staffing, practice management, primary care, research and teaching/presentations. Elective rotations consist of ambulatory antimicrobial stewardship, ambulatory pediatrics, HIV primary care, outpatient oncology, leadership excellence education (LEED-R), and repeating a required rotation.
Requirements include: completion of Doctor of Pharmacy program and ASHP accredited or candidate status PGY-1 residency program and eligible for Delaware pharmacist licensure (obtained by September 1st).
