The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy provides three excellent training opportunities with experienced clinical faculty at South Texas Veterans Health Care System (San Antonio), University Health (San Antonio), and Ascension Seton (Austin). The two underlined programs are participating in PPS. Please indicate which program(s) you are interested in pursuing when you request an interview. 

The Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residencies are designed to further develop the resident's skills in adult internal medicine. In each of these programs, the resident will have several rotations with the internal medicine team while also having opportunities for electives in select areas.

Residents in The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy Affiliated Programs are eligible for appointment as an Instructor in Clinical Pharmacy with the College of Pharmacy.  There are also opportunities for participation in Resident Rounds, the Teaching and Leadership Training Program, teaching in labs and precepting clerkship students. 

Requirements include:

• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate
• Texas licensure by August 1
  
  • Texas licensure is only required for the STVHCS program if completing offsite rotations (if no offsite rotations, then licensure with any state meets the requirement)
• Enrollment in the ASHP Residency Match Program
