The University of Maryland School Pharmacy is conducting an open search for 2 faculty positions - School Assistant Professor in Pharmacometrics and School Assistant Professor in Aging/Geriatric Practice in the Department of Practice, Sciences, and Health Outcomes Research. These positions are full-time, nontenure-track, 12-month appointment based at the Baltimore, Maryland Campus. These positions require teaching; service to the school, campus and the profession; scholarly activity.
Pharmacometrics Faculty - Applicants should have the ability to engage in the application of practical pharmacometric approaches to drug development and regulatory decisions. Develop system biology, quantitative systems pharmacology, disease models and apply them to design/analyze clinical trials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Pharmacometrics Faculty
Doctoral degree in pharmaceutical sciences, statistics, medical or related field.
PharmD with pharmacometric experience.
Good experience with computational system biology modeling/quantitative systems pharmacology, pharmacometric modeling and simulation.
The University of Maryland offers residency and fellowship programs in a wide array of specialties. During the course of their training, all trainees present in and attend Pharmacotherapy Rounds, attend a series of Professional Development Seminars on professional development topics relevant to pharmacy practice, teach activities to University of Maryland School of Pharmacy students, and complete a comprehensive research project.
