This residency program is a 12-month ASHP-accredited postgraduate program that builds upon PGY-1 pharmacy residency with a focus in infectious diseases.
Most resident rotations will be located at Providence Portland Medical Center and Providence St Vincent Medical Center with the goal of providing diverse patient care experiences across diverse patient populations.
Residents will spend the first part of the year gaining experience in antimicrobial stewardship and microbiology. Residents will then transition to the infectious diseases consult service and participate in advanced electives.

Microbiology laboratory (2 weeks)
Antimicrobial stewardship I (6 weeks)
Antimicrobial stewardship II (6 weeks)
Antimicrobial stewardship III (2 weeks)
Community hospital antimicrobial stewardship (5 weeks)
