The OHSU Pharmacy team is dedicated to helping providers and patients manage complex and cutting-edge medication therapies. OHSU Pharmacy staff work side by side with fellow healthcare providers creating an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Our goal is to provide world class medication management to the patients we serve.
This residency is a full time, one-year program designed to provide concentrated training in various areas of pharmacy infectious diseases practice at an academic medical center. The resident will obtain advanced knowledge in infectious diseases clinical skills coupled with academic opportunities and will be poised to assume a pharmacy infectious diseases career upon successful completion of the residency.
Rotational learning experience requirements include the following:
Adult General Infectious Diseases
Adult General Infectious Diseases – Teaching
Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy
Adult Immunocompromised Infectious Diseases
Pediatric Infectious Diseases
Antimicrobial Stewardship
Microbiology
Longitudinal learning experience requirements include the following:
Project management via residency research project
Participation in Antimicrobial Subcommittee
HIV Clinic
Antimicrobial Stewardship weekend staffing (4 shifts per month)
