Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services the Clinical Pharmacist will assume the responsibility and accountability for the management of rational antibiotic therapy used within White Plains Hospital, or management of the critical care, transition of care or high risk patients as defined by area of responsibility. Will provide for the collaboration and consultation with other health professionals on the therapeutic use of antibiotics or other medication for patients under the scope of responsibility. Will also provide education and training for health professionals involved in this clinical forum.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Includes the Following:

Education & Experience Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy with a PharmD Residency or certification preferred.

Must be physically able to ambulate or be stationary for extended periods of time, perform difficult manipulative arm-hand steadiness and hand-eye coordination Must be physically able to meet all regulatory requirements.
Ability to focus and concentrate on fine detail with interruption and attend to tasks for more than 60 minutes at a time. Individual must be able to understand theories behind several related concepts and remember multiple tasks given during the course of a day.
