This 12-month, ASHP-accredited, PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital is designed to provide the resident an opportunity to advance their clinical knowledge and judgement beyond that of a PGY1 resident in the area of infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship. The residency program is designed to help equip the resident with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to be an adept, independent, clinical pharmacy specialist practitioner/educator in the area of infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship.
