The critical care/emergency medicine clinical specialist provides bedside care to patients in the intensive care units/emergency department at IU Health Methodist Hospital, a designated Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Neuroscience Center of Excellence with over 130 licensed ICU beds and over 80,000 ED visits annually. This pharmacist specialist will be responsible for providing and coordinating medication management in the evening or overnight and will add to the critical care/emergency medicine pharmacist team which includes day shift, evening shift, and nocturnist clinical pharmacy specialists as well as all operations pharmacists. Team members in these positions work 7 shifts per 14-day period in a direct patient care role.
