The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Pharmacy in Lebanon, NH anticipates recruitment for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor to join our Inpatient team. The Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor engages patients and healthcare professionals throughout our hospital units to efficiently and effectively maximize therapeutic outcomes. Joining the Inpatient Pharmacy team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock means you will work closely with a large team with diverse areas of specialty. The clinical pharmacist supervisor will oversee decentral pharmacist teams, including surgery, pediatrics, and transplant. This position supports the Clinical Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacy Director in providing leadership and oversight for:
Med-Surg, Pediatrics, and Transplant decentral pharmacist teams
Contribution to the development, maintenance and management of medication related guidelines defined by protocol or collaborative practice agreements.
Detection and reporting of medication errors and near misses.
Readiness for regulatory and accreditation surveys.
Participation in the quality improvement and medication use review activities of the department.
Preparation and delivery of presentations to facilitate learning or disseminate evidence-based best practice to pharmacists, nurses, physicians, other healthcare professionals in the hospital or ambulatory/outpatient settings.
Effective communication between departments and teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Active participation in driving all programs and initiatives to improve patient quality of care, medication compliance, medication adherence and overall efficiency.
Use of professional judgment to resolve complaints.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy 3 years’ experience as a Pharmacist.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy with 3 years of health care system experience (of which 1 must be pharmacy supervisory experience), or the equivalent required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and possess the ability to set priorities and make critical decision.
Effective problem solving and change management abilities desired.
Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated interpersonal and team skills essential.
