DescriptionSummary:This pharmacist will be part of a dedicated team within the Emergency Department as part of a fast-paced, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.Responsibilities include medical and surgical trauma response, provision of pharmacotherapy to adult and pediatric ED patients, preparation of select IV products for immediate use, medication reconciliation, and participation in departmental quality improvement projects. Expectation to participate in training of PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents. All pharmacists fill orders for drugs, monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information.
