The Supervisory Pharmacist is a partner to the Chief, Pharmacy Service and, in their absence, is responsible for all Pharmacy Service Programs; The incumbent supervises CPRS and VISTA prescription order entry by clinical and operational pharmacy staff, monitors compliance with clinical safety and efficacy policies and rules & regulations set forth by the PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management office) as well as order entry within the Scope of Practice assigned to pharmacy staff at all GS levels. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
