CareerPharm®

The PGY1/PGY2, combined Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) Residency at UTMB Health, is a two-year program designed to train pharmacists who are interested in becoming well-rounded practice managers and leaders in all areas of health-system pharmacy. This program will enable residents to assume high-level pharmacy practice managerial, supervisory, and leadership responsibilities. It provides residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice settings.
