This PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Geriatrics is offered by Mountain Area Health Education Center in partnership with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy Asheville Campus. This program is led by pharmacists with extensive experience in geriatric pharmacy practice, academics, and leadership. The goal of the program is to develop geriatric pharmacotherapy specialists with strong teaching and leadership skills who provide exceptional patient care services for older adults, contribute to the body of literature in geriatric pharmacotherapy, and teach multiple disciplines about the needs of the aging population.
