In this key role, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing many types of pharmaceuticals to fulfill orders in the inpatient pharmacies. You will collaborate closely with other members of the health care team to help prevent inappropriate or misuse of medications. Adhering to departmental policies and procedures, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services (e.g., pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV/PO conversions, TPN per pharmacy, pharmacist interventions).

Schedule: Varied shifts(4-10 hour shifts), depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays
Hourly Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)
Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE
Qualifications
We’re seeking a dedicated clinical professional with:
Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license (required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
ACLS with renewal every 2 years
ASHP-accredited residency (preferred).
2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred).
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.
Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
