What makes Ascension's residency program an exemplary place for learning is its commitment to clinical excellence in patient safety. We serve 110 hospitals at over 1,500 sites, covering greater than 18,000 acute care patient beds. We are a federally recognized Patient Safety Organization, and we strengthen this effort through a formal partnership with ISMP. Our national scope and stewardship of resources allow us to contribute nearly $2 billion annually in care of persons living in poverty and for community benefit. The Ascension Rx PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) residency is a 24-month program. The resident will train extensively in the foundational aspects of contemporary, corporate health-system administration so that she or he may emerge a
