CareerPharm®

This PGY2 residency program provides advanced training in ambulatory care to residents with an interest in academia. The practice sites include Athens VA Outpatient Clinic and Piedmont Physician Group. Residents will gain experience in managing a variety of chronic disease states under a scope of practice and collaborative practice agreements, and developing relationships with patients longitudinally. Teaching and scholarship is also emphasized. Residents are appointed as graduate students at UGA and will receive a Graduate Certificate, in addition to the Residency Certificate, upon completion of the program.
