This 24-month Pharmacotherapy (PCT) residency program will be completed in two distinct PGY-1 and PGY-2 years. The PCT PGY-1 resident will follow all requirements of completion for the PGY-1 residency training program and receive a PGY1 residency certificate upon completion. The PCT PGY-2 resident will receive a 24-month Pharmacotherapy residency certificate at the end of the PGY-2 year upon completion of all requirements stated in the offer letter. This PCT residency program has one position each year. Additional customization may be made during PGY-2 to best support the resident’s area of interest. Required Longitudinal Experiences:
Design and complete a Medication Use Evaluation during PGY-1 (12 months)
Precept a Medication Use Evaluation during PGY-2 (6 months)
Complete two practice-based research projects (one each year) or one project that spans the 24-month experience
Participate in 21 weekends with comp days PGY1 year, every 3rd weekend PGY2 year
Two 8-hour shifts each staffing weekend
Participate in Pharmacy Residency On-Call (PROC) program during PGY-1 (12 months)
One 8-hour shift from 3-10 pm approximately every 2 weeks
Participate in Department of Pharmacy Code Blue coverage both years (24 months)

Present one Morbidity and Mortality case during PGY-2
Presentation in HFH Interactive Clinical Education program during PGY-1

Applicants must be graduates of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy and eligible for Michigan licensure. Academic transcripts, three professional references, and curriculum vitae should be submitted.
