PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with MHA Residency
The PGY1 / PGY2 HSPAL with MHA Residency at WVU Hospitals will provide the resident with the skills to assume high level leadership and managerial responsibilities. The program is a 24-month, postgraduate training experience composed of required learning experiences in both clinical pharmacy and pharmacy administration. The resident will complete all PGY1 pharmacy residency requirements with year two focused on administrative experiences in operations management, clinical management, supply chain, specialty pharmacy management, ambulatory care, oncology infusion services, human resources, medication safety and executive leadership. Additionally, there is time devoted to research and training in the various dispensing areas of pharmacy.
