The PGY2 Internal Medicine Residency Program is designed to provide the opportunity for the resident to obtain advanced training in the area of internal medicine and its sub-specialties. The resident will receive well-rounded training experience that will enable the resident to succeed in the areas of service, teaching, and scholarly activities. Service experiences include clinical service, formulary management, medication-use evaluation, and distribution. Teaching experiences include didactic teaching, small group facilitation, experiential precepting, and human-patient simulation. Scholarly experiences include preparation of a manuscript for publication, presentation of a professional poster at a national meeting, and development of a longitudinal research project.
