PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program
The postgraduate year two (PGY2) Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program at the University of Missouri Health Care is designed to help residents become experts in critical care pharmacotherapy. The resident will gain clinical skills by serving as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team managing complex critically ill patients. Rotations provide exposure to medical, surgical, trauma, neuroscience, cardiology, and emergency medicine populations. Elective experiences are available in cardiothoracic surgery, infectious diseases, neonatal intensive care, and pediatric intensive care. The resident will be engaged in longitudinal experiences including code response, clinical and operations staffing, emergency medicine staffing, research, teaching, and clinical practice management.
