The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is recruiting for a Cardiothoracic Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for the Heart and Vascular Intensive Care Unit (HVICU). The HVICU is a 36-bed critical care unit with three rounding teams located in HUP's new Pavilion. Patients admitted to the HVICU may undergo a variety of procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, cardiac valve replacement or repair, infective endocarditis management, and aortic dissection. Additionally, patients may also require advanced mechanical circulatory support of advanced heart and lung failure which may include Impella, LVAD, RVAD, VA or VV ECMO.
