The Clinical Specialist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients. They are responsible for providing all levels of pharmacy clinical services within specialization in their assigned area, including but not limited to the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures. The Specialist is responsible for assisting the Director and Assistant Director of Pharmacy and the Clinical Coordinator in the coordination and supervision of all clinical pharmacy activities, in addition to the quality improvement and quality assurance activities relating to the provision of pharmaceutical care.  We currently have
