The PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital is an ASHP-accredited one-year postgraduate training program. The program is set in one of the country's largest pediatric hospitals, within the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center campus located in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
At 278 beds, Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital is one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the country and contains a dedicated pediatric emergency center and the largest Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Houston fully equipped to treat pediatric patients. In addition to general pediatric, pediatric sub-specialty, pediatric transplant (heart, kidney and liver), the hospital has a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing neonatal critical care services to infants and premature babies born as early as 23 weeks’ gestation. We also have a 22-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a 20-bed Heart Center Intensive Care Unit. Pediatric pharmacy residents will have the opportunity to participate in the care of premature infants, toddlers, older children, and adolescents throughout their residency experience, helping to develop the advanced critical thinking skills needed to be an exceptional pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist.

Graduated from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Pharm.D. degree.
Completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
Licensed as a pharmacist in Texas within 60 days of the start of the residency year.
Registered with PhORCAS and the ASHP Residency Matching Program.
