PGY-2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership
Job Description Pharmacists successfully completing a PGY-2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota will be capable of assuming high level managerial, supervisory and leadership pharmacy positions. The PGY-2 year of the combined HSPA-MS program focuses on a host of required administrative learning experiences, including: Cancer Care, Community/Mail Order/Specialty Pharmacy, Formulary/Contracting/Managed Care, Health System Operations, Informatics, Inpatient Clinical Operations, Medication Management Services/Ambulatory Operations, Pharmacy Enterprise Leadership, Pharmacy Procurement, and Safety/Quality/Compliance. Each resident is also be enrolled in ASHP Foundation’s Pharmacy Leadership Academy.
