Purdue University is offering a one year fellowship in public health and academia. The fellow will gain experience in county health departments in rural counties in Indiana. The fellow’s primary site will be within the Carroll County Health Department and assist county health officials with their county’s health initiatives. This may include serving as a practitioner for public health services, as well as program design, implementation, and evaluation. The fellow also will be involved in didactic teaching at Purdue University and precept students completing their advance practice rotation experiences. In addition, fellows will have multiple opportunities to conduct collaborative research.

Applicants are expected to have completed a Doctor of Pharmacy program and be eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana. Candidates also must have completed a PGY-1 residency or have equivalent pharmacy practice experience.
