The OHSU Pharmacy team is dedicated to helping providers and patients manage complex and cutting-edge medication therapies. OHSU Pharmacy staff work side by side with fellow healthcare providers creating an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Our goal is to provide world class medication management to the patients we serve.
This residency is a one-year program designed to provide concentrated training in various areas of pharmacy informatics practice at an academic medical center. The resident will obtain advanced knowledge in informatics skills coupled with their clinical and operational experience and will be poised to assume a pharmacy informatics position upon successful completion of the residency.
Throughout the program, the resident will actively participate in the following activities:
Informatics project management and technology assessment
Integrated electronic health record (EHR) design and maintenance
Clinic decision support
Drug information and policy
Medication safety
Student and resident teaching
End-user training
Automation/technology
Vendor relations
