The Hematology/Oncology Pharmacist Team Lead is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to oncology patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings and serves as an expert consultant within the specialty practice areas of oncology and supportive care/symptom management. This person also acts in a collaborative role between the inpatient pharmacy and the Hematology/Oncology Staff and Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide optimal, safe care to their patients.
