Schedule: Full-time Nights
Shift: 7 days on 7 days off. Monday to Sunday; 11 hour shifts from 8:00PM=7:30AM. Weekends 11.5 hours Friday to Saturday. 12 hour Sunday shift.

Our dedicated, expert team at AdventHealth South Overland Park provides excellent care to communities of southeastern Johnson County, with 24/7 emergency room services, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery, advanced imaging center, physical therapy and more.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Pharmacist is the medication expert, with activities primarily involving the provision of pharmaceutical care to associates, patients and the public.The Clinical Staff Pharmacist performs and/or oversees all accountabilities associated with compounding, dispensing and clinical monitoring of medications for patients.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Maintain a broad knowledge base including trouble shooting of Pyxis® and Cerner® information systems
Appropriately prioritize so that STAT and urgent orders are handled to ensure no unnecessary delays in patient care
Demonstrate efficient use of time by minimizing the amount of orders put on hold and delegating tasks to students and technicians whenever possible and appropriate.
Assure that a complete review of patient specific parameters is conducted prior to initiating a new medication.
Appropriately document all performed clinical interventions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Kansas Pharmacy License
1 Years of Position-Related Experience
One Computer Skills
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Pharmacy
PharmD
2 Years Position-Related Experience
Registered Preceptor with Board of Pharmacy
Board Certification – BCPS, BCPP or BCOP
ACLS obtained through the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
