The Clinical Pharmacist prepares and monitors the use of various forms of medications, compounds, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment in the Clinical Pharmacy Division of the hospital, and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with clinical practice and all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations including New York State Department of Health. This position monitors therapeutic drug administration and safety, manages clinical pathways, formulary management, pharmacoeconomic, and reports patient outcomes utilizing detailed reporting systems.
