Oncology Pharmacist Specialist
An Oncology Pharmacist Specialist is able to perform all tasks of a Clinical Pharmacist and a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. Additionally, Pharmacists in the Pharmacy Specialty job position are responsible for developing a practice in their area of specialty, including a strong relationship with the associated nursing unit(s)/department(s). Oncology Pharmacist Specialists are expected to identify, implement, and monitor projects and programs proactively; participate in the hospital’s MUE program; precept residents and students; and otherwise further the hospital’s mission of serving its patients and becoming nationally recognized for clinical and service excellence.
