PGY2 Thrombosis and Hemostasis Management
The PGY2 pharmacy residency program builds upon Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to develop clinical pharmacists in specialized areas. The field of thrombosis and hemostasis is evolving rapidly, and clinical pharmacists are increasingly called upon as experts in the management of therapies utilized to prevent and treat serious and life-threatening bleeding and thrombotic events across care settings. The goal of this PGY2 residency is to develop clinical pharmacists with expertise in thrombosis and hemostasis management who can provide comprehensive patient-centered care, serve as a resource to interdisciplinary teams and promote anticoagulation stewardship.
