This program is offered in partnership with the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, where residents earn a Master of Science (MS) in Health-System Pharmacy Administration while completing residency training.
Program Structure

Year 2 (PGY2): Focused administrative and leadership rotations with emphasis on:
Clinical and operational leadership
Supply chain and medication use systems
Pharmacy finance and business operations
Medication safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Longitudinal Experiences
Throughout both years, residents participate in longitudinal activities that strengthen leadership and professional development skills, including:
Leadership and human resources management
Centralized pharmacy staffing
Leader-on-call experience
Delivery of an ACPE-accredited continuing education presentation
Completion of a quality improvement or research project
