Program Overview
The PGY2 Pharmacy Resident is a licensed pharmacist participating in a structured, 12-month, ASHP-accredited postgraduate training program within Novant Health. The PGY2 program is designed to build upon PGY1 training and develop advanced clinical, leadership, and professional skills in a specialized area of pharmacy practice. The resident will serve as a vital member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team, contribute to systemwide initiatives, and engage in activities that advance pharmacy practice, education, research, and leadership.
We will be utilizing the PPS (Personal Placement Services) forum to identify candidates interested in our available PGY2 specialty residency programs.
Details about PPS and other recruitment opportunities are outlined below. Most of this information can also be found on our residency website, where each PGY2 program has its own website containing program-specific details.
We also encourage you to visit the Novant Health Pharmacy Residency Programs booth (#5418) at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting Residency Showcase on Tuesday, December 9, from 8:00–11:00 AM, to meet our team and learn more about the diverse opportunities within our programs.
