PGY2 Emergency Medicine, UIC Retzky COP Rockford and OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center
The University of Illinois (UIC), Retzky College of Pharmacy (COP), Rockford, in conjunction with OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center (SAMC) Rockford, offers this PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency. The resident’s focus will be on direct care of ED patients within SAMC. The residency offers specialty training in emergency medicine, trauma, and critical care. An academic appointment with the Retzky COP is provided and the resident may participate in didactic lectures, and function as a co-preceptor for UIC Retzky COP students and PGY1 residents. Residency requirements include clinical research, completion of two publishable manuscripts, didactic lecture(s), and a continuing education lecture is required. Pharmacy practice includes staffing every fourth weekend in the emergency departme
