We work to prevent illness whenever possible, to heal children with compassion when they are sick, and to surround families with the support they need so kids can grow up healthy, happy, and full of possibility.
As a not-for-profit health care system, our mission extends far beyond medicine. With more than 60 primary, specialty, and urgent care locations across Texas, we bring top-ranked pediatric expertise and heartfelt care closer to every child and family we serve. At Cook Children’s, every decision we make, every service we provide, begins with one promise: Knowing every child’s life is sacred, we promise to improve the well-being of every child in our care and our communities.
This promise is what has earned Cook Children’s a place on Forbes’ list of America’s Best Large Employers and recognition as one of the best places to work nationwide. But more than awards or rankings, what drives us is the trust families place in us—the chance to hold their child’s hand, to celebrate milestones, an...d to walk alongside them in their journey.
Our team includes world-class doctors, nurses, and medical professionals, but it’s also made up of dreamers, problem-solvers, and everyday heroes who believe deeply in the magic of childhood.
