Sponsored by LIU Pharmacy, this program takes place at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. The resident will have a longitudinal exposure to various collaborative drug therapy management and interdisciplinary clinics serving a diverse patient population, including family medicine, internal medicine, anticoagulation, and HIV primary care. The ambulatory care resident will assist in providing transitions of care oversight for the inpatient Pharmacotherapist-On-Call program. Approximately 5% of the program will be spent in staffing activities, with the majority of time dedicated to direct patient care, followed by teaching and scholarship.
