This position is in one of two Central Inpatient Pharmacies at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN. Responsibilities include medication management services in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapy to patients. Responsibilities include assessment of medication therapy regimens, medication therapy management, medication order verification/entry, medication distribution, documentation of medication therapy plans, and medication use education and pharmaceutical care services. Additionally, pharmacists are active members in quality improvement, research activities, and education. Some patient areas covered include OR/anesthesia, outpatient/ambulatory surgery, emergency department, outpatient dialysis, labor and delivery, and outpatient infusion therapy center.

Schedule
This position rotates every 3rd weekend and covers two of six observed holidays per year.
Benefits
Salary is based on experience and training - $145,000 - $185,000

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes at least two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience.
MN Pharmacist license required within 60-days after start date.
Preferred:
If holding a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, a minimum of 10-years relevant experience is preferred.
