The PGY-1/2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital is a 24-month residency with inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory care, leadership, teaching, and administrative experiences. The first year focuses on clinical exposure and the second year focuses on building clinical leadership, operations, and supervisory experience. There are clinical leadership and operational leadership opportunities during the second year of the program that allows flexibility in tailoring the program to the strengths and interests of the resident. The program also places emphasis on developing inclusive leadership skills and how to create a culture of belonging in the workplace. These experiences are coordinated under th
