PGY2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy Pharmacy Resident
The PGY2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy Residency is a structured 12-month PGY2 residency program that provides advanced training in medication safety, medication-use policy, regulatory and accreditation standards, and quality improvement. Residents completing the program will be well prepared to assume roles including: those with responsibility for developing and implementing system changes that improve the safety within the medication-use system; managing medication-use guidelines and policies; and overseeing regulatory and accreditation compliance. The resident will work closely with members of Medication Safety, Quality, and Regulatory team to investigate medication errors and near misses, develop and implement system changes to ensure safe and efficient use of medications,
