• Verifying medication orders for safety and efficacy
• Optimizing drug selection, dosing, and administration
• Monitoring drug therapy and facilitating medication reconciliation
• Leading efforts in medication safety, error prevention, and adverse event reporting
• Maintaining compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards, including hazardous drug handling and aseptic technique

About East Alabama Health

East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC) is a regional referral hospital with a Level 3 Trauma Center and 340-beds located in Opelika that serves 11 regional counties.
