Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Cardiology to advance cardiovascular care within our award-winning institution. This inpatient-focused role offers the opportunity to directly impact patient outcomes through expert medication management and active participation in transitions of care.
The specialist will serve as a key resource in developing and sustaining cardiology-related pharmacy services and programs, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based, patient-centered care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role supports pharmacy education through meaningful contributions to PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs, student training, and departmental learning initiatives. Ideal candidates will bring clinical expertise, a passion for education, and a commitment to innovation in cardiovascular pharmacy practice.
Preferred qualifications: PGY2 Cardiology or PGY1 Pharmacy residency with 3+ years of clinical experience in cardiology
